Festival of Sails in Port Alberni

With its next edition coming up in 2010, the Festival of Sails in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island has become one of the most attractive Tall Ship events in British Columbia.Crews and visitors enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Burrard Inlet, so it's not surprising to hear that every time more famous Tall Ships find their way to Port Alberni. In 2008 some of the venue's highlights were:

•  the Lady Washington (famous as the Interceptor from the Pirates of the Caribbean Saga)
